About the Role
**PLYR Media is expanding our SEO team!**
We’re looking for an ambitious SEO Specialist to support the growth of one or more websites and work closely with our content, design, and technical teams. In this role, you’ll execute SEO strategies, optimize on-site content, and collaborate with writers and external partners to achieve measurable gains in search rankings and organic traffic.
**🔍 Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and grow assigned website(s) through on-page and off-page SEO activities
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and full SEO audits
- Plan content strategy and create clear SEO briefs for writers
- Optimize existing pages for performance, rankings, and user experience
- Collaborate with writers, IT, and link-building team to execute priorities
- Track KPIs (traffic growth, rankings, KPI pages, conversions) and turn insights into actions
- Report monthly progress and propose new initiatives
- Stay up to date with SEO trends and algorithm updates
**✅ What We’re Looking For**
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience working with SEO principles and strategies
- Understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and link-building fundamentals
- Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and WordPress
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing tasks independently
