**About Us**
:  Leading steel manufacturer with regional sourcing operations across the Western Balkans. We work with a network of 30+ scrap suppliers and require a proactive procurement leader to manage supplier relationships, logistics and commercial performance.

**Role Summary:**
You will lead scrap procurement department, building and maintaining close, trust-based relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, coordinating deliveries and ensuring scrap quality and supply reliability. The role requires frequent travel (weekly) and strong hands-on, field presence.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Own end-to-end scrap procurement from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosovo, and Albania.
- Develop and maintain relationships with >30 suppliers. Conduct regular on-site visits and supplier audits.
- Source, evaluate and qualify new suppliers to secure competitive, reliable supply.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, payment terms and logistics agreements.
- Monitor market trends, scrap price dynamics, and regulatory changes. Provide short and long-term purchasing strategies.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, transport and customs/clearance where applicable to ensure timely supply.
- Maintain strict scrap quality control standards and work with quality/production teams to resolve deviations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, safety, environment and local regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders — operations, planning, quality, finance and logistics.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Metallurgy, Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years experience in procurement. Prior work in metals/steel/scrap and regional sourcing across the Balkans is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record managing multiple suppliers and complex logistics across cross-border markets.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills. Experience with contract drafting and vendor terms.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills, comfortable with frequent face-to-face supplier interaction.
- Willingness to travel frequently (weekly regional travel).
- Fluent in English; local language(s) (Bulgarian, Serbian, Albanian) are a strong advantage.
- Proficient with ERP systems, MS Office (especially Excel) and procurement reporting tools.
