**Job Purpose:**

We are looking for a Finance Specialist who will manage the organisation’s financial, tax, and payroll operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with Albanian laws and regulations. This role handles withholding taxes, VAT, profit tax filings, payroll, financial statements, inventory, intercompany accounts, and import/export procedures. The specialist ensures timely, accurate financial records and supports decision-making through reliable financial data and insights.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and file timely tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.).
- Complete all documentation related to double taxation avoidance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and deadlines, as directed by the Finance Supervisor.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit & Loss and other statutory reports.
- Conduct month-end financial statement closings.
- Close sales and purchase books accurately.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Handle withholding tax.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for part-time and full-time staff, addressing complex scenarios including double employment, overtime, and calculations for leave and benefits.
- Operate and maintain records in AlphaWeb and other Albanian financial systems.
- Manage tax and regulatory submissions using eAlbania, Self-Care, e-Filing, and other government systems.
- Oversee inventory management and stock reporting.
- Handle import and export operations, including customs-related procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or related financial roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Albanian.
- Solid knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Albanian financial software, with a strong preference for AlphaWeb.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with integrity.
