Deputy Store Manager

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Deputy Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of store in accordance with overall company policy. The main focus of a deputy store manager is to improve the commercial performance of the store.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- Drive sales performance and support achievement of KPIs by monitoring daily results and taking actions to maximize store performance while ensuring excellent customer service on the shop floor.
- Ensure strong merchandising standards by implementing company guidelines and planograms, maintaining visual excellence, and optimizing product placement and promotions to maximize commercial impact.
- Oversee stock management by ensuring product availability, monitoring stock levels, supporting replenishment, and maintaining full control of stock accuracy through inventories and routine checks.
- Support team management by organizing daily activities, allocating workload, and managing staff schedules to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members while supporting performance management, feedback, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure smooth store operations in line with company procedures, maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant environment always..
- Act as Store Manager in their absence and maintain effective communication with management and team on performance and operational matters.
- Participates in any training program in and out the country.
**REQUESTS:**
- Education: University Degree, preferably in business related fields
- Work Experiences: At least 3 years’ work experience in similar trading company.
**OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Mobility – the job entails frequent travel
- Must be able to use MS Office applications – Word, Outlook, and Excel to a competent standard
